A few recommended Totally Free Digital Photography programs

Corel Painter will of course always be superior to any other digital painting software out there. It does come with a price, and I guess the main question you have to ask before buying corel painter is just how serious you are. If you are going to do some professional painting jobs, then corel painter is the perfect program for you. But if you just want to mess around and have some fun, then here are some free programs to try out:

2. FastStone Image Viewer

3. Paint NET 3.22

4. ArtRage 2.5

ArtRage 2.5 ROCKS! It rivals Painter as well. I find it easier to use and it is the bomb! You should see some of the paintings on the forum for yourself. It is the least expensive out there for what it does and it does A LOT!!! 25 dollars is nothing for such a powerful program and TOTALLY worth the money. I found it much easier than all the bells and whistles in Painter (though Painter is awesome no doubt about it), but still, ArtRage is very sophisticated and many of the same features but a fraction of the cost, if you decide to upgrade from the FREE version, which still is outrageous, or should I say ARTRageous! The guys that came up with this program are the BEST! Join the forum and see! ;)
